Chuck Walker, owner and President of Cornerstone Wealth Advisors, is a native Floridian and graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Minors in Accounting and Economics. He became securities licensed in 1983 and a Certified Financial Planner™ in 1989. After spending over nine years with a national brokerage firm, he followed his dream of owning his own business and founded Cornerstone Wealth Management, Inc.
Chuck has been proudly serving his clients for over 38 years throughout greater Tampa Bay and nationwide as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and licensed financial advisor. His methodology and standards of exceptional service to his clients is firmly rooted in four principle cornerstones: Integrity, Experience, Respect & Reliability.
Chuck specializes in financial planning and wealth management for individuals and small business owners. He helps these families realize their goals of creating custom portfolios to provide for their children's education, as well as their estate and legacy planning. Chuck’s key differentiator is the working partnership he forms with his clients aimed at attaining a Return On Life – achieving the best life possible with their money and assets.
Chuck has seen firsthand how his advice has helped better his clients' lives and he takes his work very seriously - as seriously as he takes his activities at his local Christian Church and previous coaching responsibilities for his children's youth sports teams. Chuck is also very active in the community, currently as a member of the Holiday Rotary Club. He previously served as the Board Chair of Gulfside Hospice & Palliative Care, Chairman of Property & Finance Committee Bayside Community Church, board member of The Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind, All Children's Hospital Foundation Plan Gifting Advisory Council, Salvation Army North Pinellas Advisory Council, and North Suncoast Estate Planners Council. He previously served 11 years on the President's Advisory Council for Investacorp and is a current member of the National Advisory Council for Advisor Group, an independent broker-dealer serving 11,000+ financial advisors nationwide.
The bottom line is that experience and integrity really do matter in planning and managing your finances. Chuck is known to share a critical axiom with his clients, “Live life by design or by default, it’s your decision.”
